To raise the visibility and increase the influence of Asian Pacific Americans in the electoral process by endorsing and providing financial support to political candidates for elected office who:

  • Share the values of Asian Pacific American community
  • Promote Asian Pacific American appointees for federal and state positions
  • Champion issues of concern to the Asian Pacific American community
Vision

The Northwest Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (NWCAPA) will be among the most sought after organizations in the Pacific Northwest region by political candidates for Federal or State office. They will seek NWCAPA’s endorsement and financial support as a demonstration of their commitment to the values and interests of the Asian Pacific American community.
